This will be really important for Zakum. Even if you're a really strong player, with some great items and you know how to control your character well, It won't be of any use if you disconnect or lag out from Zakum, due to having a bad computer. Please post your computer specs here, And We'll see if It will be good enough for Zakum. If it does not meet up to the requirements, we'll find some ways for you guys to be able to participate. We refuse to leave anyone out! >=]

This is the requirement that I'm suggesting that everyone should meet up with. I don't trust Nexon's requirement, nor do I trust them at all, Haha.

    Minimum REQ:
    CPU: 2xxx GHZ Single Core
RAM: 1 Gigabyte (GB) SD or DDR RAM, depends on what your computer takes.
    Graphic: 512mb DDR Video Card
Windows: 2000 or XP. Vista is known to D/C like heck at Zakum.
Connection: DSL or Cable. Wireless is highly not recommended, unless you know personally its reliable.

If you either meet these requirements or Surpass them, you should be able to go on a Zakum run without LAG on low Graphic Quality, or even at Maxed.

I remember calling clients with wireless... wasn't the best idea in the world... but then again, I also didn't have my USB headset back then either... so I'm not really sure which one was worse... I think the USB helped more than being wired.. who knows :P

Wireless tends to play a huge factor when many actions are going on at once. Voice transfering through wireless can also be cut off, due to interuptions. To Jeff, Since I now just know you have been using wireless, That could be the main reason you D/C.

I think it depends on your wireless and everything though. I just got a new router/DSL and I love it.

Rawrawrawr. So my own laptop just died. The graphics card burnt out. And this is probably only a week or two after having to replace my hard drive. And since it's really hard to replace it, and I don't want to pay a new graphics card to stick it back in so something else can die, I am temporarily without a computer of my own. Anyway, I have access to computers just fine, except that at times other people might be using it since the others are family computers. This just means that I might not be able to get on as often, though it should not affect anything too bad. As for how well they run, well, they work just fine. One (my moms) has a gig of RAM and that's what I've been playing on since last friday. My dad's works wonders. I think it's 4 gigs of RAM and some 22 inch LCD screen, so I'm not worried about that. And I can ensure being on then (weekends), and my mom doesn't use her comp much minus taxes and a few emails and stuff, so I should not be affected too much in any way.

I've just realized this laptops RAM sucks. 766 Mb. And it had Vista on it when we bought it, so it's not that old.

Oh, here's something that could help you guys out. After you start maple, alt-tab... ctrl+alt+del... find explorer.exe... close it. That will close your start menu, task bar, etc. Also go through and close your virus scan programs (MsMpEng.exe or something is windows defender... KILLS computer speed sometimes). When you're finished with the run, you can either restart the computer or simply start each program again.

    To restart explorer
    1) Ctrl+Alt+Del
    2) File > Run
    3) Type in explorer
    4) Hit ok
