    If I create a buddy system on the forum, which would you prefer...

    • You buddy someone and...
      • They are alerted and asked if they want to buddy you and...
        • Everyone can see that buddy only if they accept (buddy you)
        • Everyone can see that buddy regardless of whether or not they accept
        • Only you can see that buddy regardless of whether or not they accept
      • They are not alerted and...
        • Only you can see that buddy (for sending messages for example)
        • Everyone can see that buddy (on profile and for sending maessages)

    1-2 would be They are alerted and asked if they want to buddy you and everyone can see that buddy regardless of whether or not they accept.
