"Hibernation is not supported under Wubi, moreover Wubi filesystem is more vulnerable to hard-reboots (turning off the power) and power outages than a normal filesystem, so try to avoid unplugging the power. An Ubuntu installation to a dedicated partition provides a filesystem that is more robust and can better tolerate such events."From Here.
I don't understand any of this at all.
I want to try fedora, but I'm not sure which I should dl.

Edit: PS it will say I'm online, and I am....but....I'm reloading every ~5 minutes >.< lol...

Edit: arg I didn't get around asking my REAL questions lol.....

Is there another way to install it onto a dedicated partition?
    and
How do I change the desktop environment from gnome to KDE?
    Herro!!!

To get it on it's own partition:
    • Install from the live CD (not wubi - wubi is to install next to windows)
    • Or install with wubi and use the LVPM to create a partition for it

As for changing the desktop environment, read this. It should help you to do so.
