I can't bash gift cards because you can get something you want or need. I actally gave 3 friends a $20 gift card to Target and a tin of my fudgy homemade chocalate chip cookies.

Haha.. well true. But there's not much in the way of buying things that I think I need, so I'm content with getting nothing.. or straight up cash? So I can just put it in my savings. I'm sure I'll need it for college. =/ Anyway, honestly, though, a gift is a gift to me and no matter what it is, the fact that they put thought enough in to try and get you something is what counts, to me anyway. I'm starting on Sunday or Monday, buying almost exclusively online. I do not like fighting the crowds and two co workers have gotten into accidents this week at Target alone. I almost ordered this for my brothers, but decided not too.
